How long does a regas actually take?+
About 45 minutes from keys-in to keys-back. That's enough time for a proper vacuum leak-test. the bit dodgy operators skip. Perfect length for a weekly shop.
Do I need to book?+
No. It's first come, first served. Turn up at our Aylesbury kiosk during opening hours and hand us the keys.
Where is the kiosk?+
Our permanent kiosk is in an Aylesbury supermarket car park. Exact venue announcing at launch. call or email and we'll tell you the moment we open.
What if I'm not back from shopping when it's done?+
No problem. We text you when we're finished. Take your time. we'll be there.
How much is it?+
£99 all-in. Every UK car, both refrigerants, VAT included. No hidden fees. If your system fails the leak test, we won't refill it and you won't pay a penny. you only pay if we do the regas.
What if my aircon still isn't cold after the regas?+
If your system fails our leak test, we won't refill it and there's no charge. If we do the regas and it fails inside 12 months due to our work, come back and we'll sort it free.
Is it safe for hybrids and electric cars?+
Yes. Our TEXA Konfort 780 Bi-Gas station has separate sealed tanks and airtight oil handling. the same setup main dealers use. Hybrids and EVs are one of the reasons we chose this kit.
Do you take card?+
Card, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Cash if you insist. Digital receipt emailed immediately.
I'm not in Aylesbury. is it worth the drive?+
For most of Bucks and Oxfordshire, yes. We're a short run from Wendover, Thame, Tring, Bicester, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes and Oxford. Cheaper than main dealers, dealer-grade kit, and you can pair the trip with a proper shop.
Are you insured and certified?+
Yes to both. We're DBS checked, F-gas certified (legally required to handle refrigerants), and carry full public liability insurance. We'll happily show paperwork on the day.
How often should I regas?+
Manufacturers recommend every 2 years. Refrigerant leaks out slowly. roughly 10% a year. so by year 3-4 the system is working overtime and the compressor starts to suffer.
