A small aircon regas kiosk on your car park.
We are You Shop We Regas, a new independent aircon regas business. We are writing to supermarket estates, partnerships and store management teams to propose a small, permanent kiosk on the car park at one of your sites. This page sets out honestly what we would need from you, how we would operate, and the commercial terms we are open to discuss. We know you hold the cards and that taking a chance on a new operator is a real ask. We have tried to make this as clear and useful as possible.

We prefer written first contact so estates and partnerships teams have a paper trail from the start. hello@youshopweregas.co.uk
What we are proposing
A small, tidy, professionally installed kiosk on a permanent footprint on your car park. We would trade within your store opening hours and serve shoppers who are doing their weekly shop. The average service takes around 45 minutes, which is the time we want the customer to spend inside your store.
We are not proposing a van, a pop up event, or a temporary trial in a gazebo. The kiosk is a permanent installation designed to look considered and quiet on a retail estate.
The footprint we would need
A small footprint, roughly the size of two parking bays. The kiosk itself sits on those two bays. We would paint the two bays in front of the kiosk in our own livery for customers being served. These two working bays are used by customers who would be parking with you anyway to do their shop.
Our customers remain fully subject to your existing parking terms. We do not expect our service to exempt anyone from your maximum stay limits, enforcement policies or any other rules that apply to your car park. We would make this clear to every customer at check in.
Power and connections
We need a mains power connection to run the kiosk lighting and the aircon service equipment. We do not need water, drainage or gas mains. If you prefer the install to be carried out by your nominated contractor to your site standards, we are happy to work that way.
Deliveries and stock
We hold very little stock on site. In normal trading we expect one delivery a week from our refrigerant supplier. In peak summer this may increase to around three deliveries a week. Deliveries are quick, use a standard van, and can be timed to suit your goods in windows if that is easier for the store.
Storage, safety and compliance
Refrigerant canisters are stored securely inside the kiosk with the correct hazard signage on display. The kiosk also houses the aircon service machine. Our technicians are F gas certified, DBS checked and wear full PPE on shift. We carry out live risk assessments throughout the day, sweep the site at the end of every shift, and report any incidents or concerns to the duty manager promptly.
Environmental impact
F gas regulations require that we release no refrigerant into the atmosphere. Refrigerant recovered from a customer vehicle is captured and recycled through our service equipment. The customer engine stays off during the service. We do not rev engines. We produce no waste product on site and dispose of nothing on your land.
Insurance and liability
We carry public liability insurance to £5 million, or the minimum required by the agreement, whichever is higher. We do not hold the store liable for any damage, loss or theft of our property or equipment. Our insurance certificate is available on request.
Trading hours
We trade within your store opening hours exclusively. Hours will naturally reduce in winter and extend in summer to match demand. We are happy to agree fixed trading hours with the store and stick to them.
How this benefits the store
A useful service on the doorstep for your shoppers, added convenience while they do a job they were putting off, and longer natural dwell time in the store while their car is with us. We do not sell any other products and we do not compete with anything on your shelves. We see our kiosk as an additional benefit for your customers on your footprint, not a rival trader.
Terms we are open to discuss
Because installing a kiosk is a significant fixed cost for us, we would need a minimum commitment of 24 months to make a site viable. Beyond that we are genuinely open on how the commercial arrangement is structured. A few starting points we are comfortable with:
- A fixed monthly fee for the pitch.
- A base fee plus a percentage of trade taken on site.
- A lease combined with an exclusive in store discount for our regas customers who spend above an agreed threshold with you while their car is being serviced.
- Any other structure your partnerships team prefers. We would rather agree something that works cleanly for your business than push our own model.
Our vision, honestly stated
We are a new business. We have a clear plan to roll out kiosks across the UK using the supermarket car park model, because we believe it is the most convenient way for people to get their aircon serviced without giving up an afternoon to a garage. If a pilot with you goes well, we would welcome a conversation about exclusivity within your estate and additional sites.
We are not asking you to sign up to any of that now. We are asking you to consider one site.
What we would like from you
A short conversation with whoever is right on your side, whether that is a store manager, an estates surveyor, or your partnerships team. We can share any of the following on request: our insurance certificate, F gas certification, method statement, site risk assessment, and references.
Get in touch
The easiest first step is an email. Tell us the site you have in mind and who on your side we should be speaking to, and we will reply with anything you would like to see before a conversation.
