Investors

Making aircon regas as easy as buying milk.

A permanent kiosk model that meets drivers where they already are. the supermarket car park. We're piloting in Buckinghamshire, with a plan to become a household name.

The opportunity

A fragmented, inconvenient market.

There are ~40 million cars on UK roads. Most need an aircon regas every two years. Today that means booking a garage, dropping the car for the day, and paying whatever the forecourt asks. It's a routine job that feels like a chore. and that's the opening.

Why now

Three tailwinds, one moment.

  • Hotter UK summers, year on year.
  • The shift to R1234yf refrigerant is squeezing indie garages that can't afford dual-gas kit.
  • Supermarkets actively looking for services that drive footfall and dwell time.
The model

Small footprint. Big convenience.

A permanent kiosk in a supermarket car park. Four bays. One TEXA regas station. Passing trade and word of mouth do the rest.

Meets drivers where they are

Every weekly shop is a service opportunity. No detour, no day off work.

~45 minute service time

Fits inside the average supermarket visit. High throughput per bay.

Two SKUs, one station

R134a and R1234yf on the same TEXA Bi-Gas. Every UK car covered.

Low overhead vs a garage

No workshop rent. No ramp. No parts inventory. Small, trained crew.

Recurring 2-year cycle

Refrigerant naturally depletes. Today's customer is next visit's booking.

Trust by design

DBS checked, F-gas certified, fully insured, dealer-grade kit. Visible standards.

Unit economics

Simple maths per kiosk.

A single kiosk is a light, understandable P&L. High-level shape:

Revenue

£99 per car, all-in, both refrigerants. Straightforward, transparent pricing.

Throughput

~45 min average service, kiosk hours aligned to store trading. Multiple cars per day per bay.

Kit

One-off TEXA Konfort 780 Touch Bi-Gas station per kiosk. Long useful life.

Staffing

One technician per kiosk on shift. Area managers oversee multiple sites.

Consumables

Refrigerant, oil, seals. Weekly delivery in winter, up to three per week in peak summer.

Site cost

Rent-style agreement with the supermarket partner. Open to fixed, revenue-share, or hybrid deals.

Full financial model, forecast and assumptions available on request under NDA.

Roadmap

Pilot. Prove. Roll out.

Phase 01

Pilot. Buckinghamshire

One kiosk, one supermarket partner. Prove throughput, customer NPS and repeatable ops.

Phase 02

Home Counties expansion

Multi-site across Bucks, Oxon, Herts and Beds. Refine the playbook for a national partner.

Phase 03

National rollout

Household name. Nationwide network via a supermarket-group partnership. Aircon regas becomes something you just do while you shop.
